Listen to your voice
An echo is a repetition of your own voice. It is a phenomenon by which sound is reflected, when the sound is reverberated back to the speaker a few seconds after the sound is produced directly. We usually experience an echo when we shout into a well, or in a wall that is enclosed or from the top of a building in the stairway. Generally the echoes are a reflection off the walls or off hard surfaces like hills and mountains. Sometimes echoes can be most undesirable, and it is especially so when we speak on the telephone or through the computer phone system.
